Couples Therapy in Colorado & California
Who this is for
Every relationship encounters seasons of closeness, excitement, friction, and change. When communication breaks down, major life changes occur, or emotional distance grows, standard guidance rarely resolves the underlying patterns. Our work will bypass generic relationship advice to focus on the unique dynamics of how you and your partner interact.
Couples I see contend with communication challenges, cultural differences, sexual concerns, family planning, life post children, infidelity, and questions about whether to embark on the journey of marriage or living together.
What sessions look like
We meet via telehealth. Sessions require both partners to be physically located in Colorado or California (together or separate, but preferably together). This is a licensing requirement.
The work draws on emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and interpersonal psychotherapy, alongside psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT) and acceptance and commitment (ACT) frameworks. We build a trusting therapeutic relationship, establish shared goals, and address the patterns between you as they unfold in sessions rather than only as they are reported.
Practicalities
Both partners located in Colorado or California at the time of session (together or separate, but preferably together).
Appointments are available on weekdays and weekends, daytime and evening.
Private pay, with a superbill on request for out-of-network reimbursement.
